Sunday Mornings

We love Sunday mornings. Well, Saturday mornings too. Especially when the kids sleep until 7am, which doesn't happen very often :)

When Hannah and Sam get up, our routine consists of relaxing in the living room, drinking coffee (or orange juice in a sippy cup, or formula in a bottle...whatever's your particular pleasure) and generally milling about. Mark likes to read magazines about design, cooking, or cars. Robin usually reviews some gardening or scrapbooking mags, and Hannah likes to kick it in front of a kids TV show (usually in some glass slippers and jammies) while Sam chews on whatever is handy and motors around the house. His favorite toys right now are his walker (he has taken about 5 steps on his own now!!), anything cylindrical (I know, wierd...), his soft magnetic puzzle blocks, and his oh-so-cozy blue blanket. After TV shows are over, we mellow out to some Jack Johnson ("Banana Pancakes" is the ultimate Sunday song) and think about breakfast. Ah....so nice not to rush.
